These Terms of Service govern your use of PawFYI, operated by Hanway Solutions LLC ("PawFYI," "we," "us"). By accessing or using PawFYI, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Acceptance of terms

You accept these terms when you:

• visit or use pawfyi.com, our newsletter, videos, or tools;
• sign up for an account or the newsletter; or
• submit a form, such as an error report or feedback.

You must be at least 18 to create an account or submit a form.

2. What PawFYI is

PawFYI publishes articles, videos, and tools about pet care, including nutrition and pet insurance, plus optional tools for keeping your pet's notes and records.

3. No veterinary advice

PawFYI is for informational purposes only and is not veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Always ask a vet who has examined your pet. If your pet may be having an emergency, contact your vet or an emergency clinic right away.

4. Pet insurance information

PawFYI is not an insurance company, agent, or broker, and we don't sell insurance. Plan details and prices we show are general examples and may be out of date. Only the insurer's policy documents set what is covered.

5. Accounts and your responsibilities

• Give accurate information and keep your login secure.
• You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Don't misuse the site: no scraping, hacking, spam, fake forms, or uploading content you don't have the right to share.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

You own what you upload. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you.

6. Affiliate relationships

Some links on PawFYI are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Our ratings and food data come from our own research, and any paid placement or sponsored ranking is clearly labeled. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

7. Intellectual property

PawFYI's content, design, ratings, and data are owned by PawFYI or its licensors and protected by law. You may share links and quote short excerpts with credit; please don't copy whole pages or our database. Brand names belong to their owners.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

PAWFYI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE WORK TO KEEP INFORMATION ACCURATE, BUT WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT CONTENT, NUTRITION DATA, PRICES, OR INSURANCE DETAILS ARE COMPLETE OR CURRENT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAWFYI IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

9. Results disclaimer

Every pet is different. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from following content or using products we cover.

10. Third-party sites

We link to retailers, brands, insurers, and other sites we don't control. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we aren't responsible for their products or services.

11. Termination

You can stop using PawFYI or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who violates these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please email petfyiadmin@gmail.com with your name, a description of the issue, and what you're asking for, and give us 90 days to try to resolve it informally.

Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be decided only by the state or federal courts located in California, and you and PawFYI agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may use small claims court instead.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll notify account holders before they take effect.
